With a donation of $500 or more, you can establish a named scholarship to support deserving students. You determine,

    the name of the scholarship
    the amount of the award
the criteria and eligibility for selecting the recipient such as field of study
how often the scholarship is awarded

Many donors choose to establish scholarships that cover resident tuition (Pima County students), non-resident tuition (non-Pima County students) and undocumented student tuition (assesed at the non-resident rate), fees and books for one or more academic semesters. For a full-time  resident student taking 12 units per semester, the cost is approximately $1,350 per semester. For a full-time non-resident or undocumented student taking 12 units per semester, the cost is approximately $3,800 per semester.

With a gift of $10,000 you can establish a Scholarship Endowment.

the principal is invested and remains intact
scholarship awards are based on investment returns
scholarships are issued annually on a continuing basis or for a designated period of time
additional donations directly to the scholarship support increased awards
