Vice President, W.E. O’Neil Construction Company
A native Tucsonan, Tommy Roof is a graduate of Sahuaro High School and the University of Arizona, majoring in History. His college career included completing classes at Pima Community College while attending the UA in order to complete degree requirements. For the last 29 years, Tommy has worked for W.E. O’Neil Construction Company. Starting as a laborer at W.E. O’Neil, his roles and responsibilities have included that of Field Engineer, Contract Administrator, Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimator and Project Executive. He currently holds the position Vice President of W.E. O’Neil. Tommy currently serves on the Board of the Pima Community College Foundation, an organization he is happy to be involved with, in large part due to the important role Pima has played in Tommy’s personal and business life, as well as the critical role Pima plays in the lives of so many Southern Arizonans. In addition to serving on the PCC Foundation Board, Tommy’s activity in the community has included serving on several boards and community groups including the Tucson Parks Foundations, the Arizona Builder’s Alliance, Arizona Town Hall, the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Southern Arizona and the Cornerstone Building Foundation.
